LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has discontinued the issuance of hard-copy intermediate result cards, shifting to a digital system from the 2026 annual examinations.

Under the new procedure, result cards will be issued in soft-copy form instead of printed documents. The board has informed all relevant educational institutions about the change.

BISE Lahore has uploaded the result cards of regular candidates to the portals of their respective educational institutions, while private candidates can download soft copies of their result cards from the board’s official website.

Each digital result card carries a QR code that allows the authenticity of the document to be verified online, according to board officials.

The board has also stopped printing and postal delivery of physical result cards. Officials said the move would reduce expenses related to printing and distribution and save the board millions of rupees.

The digital system is aimed at streamlining the issuance of result cards while providing students and institutions with easier access to verified academic documents.

BISE Lahore’s official website currently provides online facilities for downloading result cards for regular and private candidates of the Intermediate Part-II First Annual Examination 2026.
