LAHORE: Two minor girls tragically lost their lives in  Johar Town, Lahore after consuming food from a local restaurant. According to police, the family had dinner at the eatery on the night of August 16, after which six-year-old Tahreem and four-year-old Arha fell critically ill and later passed away.

The Punjab Food Authority sealed the restaurant and registered a case against the owner. Police confirmed that both the restaurant owner and kitchen staff have been taken into custody.
