Rawalpindi: Police have arrested well-known TikToker Atiqa Nawaz, alias Murshid, on charges of drug trafficking and recovered 1,050 grams of crystal meth (ice) from her possession.
According to police, a case has been registered against the suspect after she was taken into custody during a raid on Rawalpindi Road, where she was allegedly caught red-handed while selling drugs.
The arrest comes a day after another notorious female dealer, Gulam Sughra alias Tania Shah, was apprehended in Mohallah Kazimabad and later sent to jail on judicial remand.

Police sources said Atiqa Nawaz had previously been arrested on August 24, 2024, when the excise department intercepted her car near the Peshawar motorway and seized 14.5 kilograms of hashish. She was later released on bail.
Investigators believe the TikToker often drove herself to avoid suspicion, exploiting her gender as a cover for narcotics trafficking. She had also faced a case earlier for allegedly abducting a man in her car.
Meanwhile, police added that Tania Shah, a repeat offender from Shah Syed Balho, has previously been arrested multiple times on charges of drug dealing and running a brothel.
