LAHORE: The second day of the 31st Textile Asia International Exhibition and Conferences concluded successfully at the Lahore Expo Centre, with strong participation from federal and provincial ministers, along with leading national and international industry experts.

Day two placed special emphasis on Textile 4.0, smart factories, and digital manufacturing technologies, reflecting Pakistan’s growing shift towards advanced and automated textile production. More than 2,000 global brands, 425 exhibitors, international delegates, and over 57,000 trade visitors took part in the exhibition.

The event witnessed strong participation from China, Türkiye, Europe, and ASEAN countries, with several foreign delegations expressing keen interest in technology partnerships and joint ventures in Pakistan’s textile sector.

The exhibition is being organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Private) Limited, with strategic support from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Live demonstrations of AI-based machinery, smart weaving machines, and robotic production systems attracted significant attention from industry professionals and investors.

Technical sessions focused on digital printing, sustainable dyes, automation, and IoT-based factory systems, highlighting global trends towards sustainability and efficiency in textile manufacturing.

According to Textile Asia Managing Director Muhammad Uzair Nizam, the strong participation of investors on day two reflects Pakistan’s successful leadership in Textile 4.0 initiatives and its emerging position in advanced textile manufacturing. Participants also acknowledged growing global confidence due to SIFC’s investor-friendly policies.
