RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s Security Forces killed ten more Indian-sponsored militants during a comprehensive area sanitization operation in Zhob District of Balochistan on February 25, 2026, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

The operation was conducted following an intelligence-based action on February 24 in the same district, where eight militants belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij were neutralized.

According to the ISPR, security forces tracked down militants on multiple routes during the latest operation and effectively engaged their hideouts. After an intense exchange of fire, ten more militants were killed.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the slain militants, who were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Security officials stated that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the region.

The military reaffirmed that the relentless counterterrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
