Riphah University holds 20th convocation in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The 20th Convocation of Riphah International University was held at the Islamabad Convention Centre, where a large number of graduating students, faculty members, parents, and guests participated in the ceremony.

The event was attended by Sardar Muhammad Yousaf as chief guest, along with University Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan and Vice Chancellor Anis Ahmad. Graduates from various disciplines were awarded degrees for their academic achievements.

Addressing the gathering, Anis Ahmad congratulated the graduating students and highlighted Riphah University’s growing national and international role. He said the university has successfully implemented international student exchange programmes, reflecting its academic standards and global engagement. He also stressed the importance of promoting ethical values alongside formal education and expressed hope that graduates would play an active role in every field of life.

Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan congratulated both students and their parents, acknowledging their sacrifices and support. He said the country’s progress depends on the hard work and commitment of its youth, urging graduates to take responsibility for building a stronger and more developed Pakistan.

In his remarks, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf praised the graduates for completing their professional education and encouraged them to contribute positively to society. He also appreciated the university’s efforts in promoting character-building and moral values.

He noted with appreciation that a significant number of Palestinian students are enrolled at Riphah International University, reflecting its international recognition and outreach. The convocation concluded with degree distribution and renewed commitments to academic excellence and social responsibility.
