ISLAMABAD: A reference has been filed against Islamabad High Court Judge Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq by Hafiz Ihtesham, General Secretary of Tahaffuz Namoos-e-Risalat.
The reference accuses the judge of misconduct and alleges that he attempted to influence cases related to the promotion of blasphemous content. The petitioner claims that Justice Ejaz Ishaq’s actions have led to an increase in the dissemination of sacrilegious material and that he tried to make Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code controversial.

The reference calls on the Supreme Judicial Council to remove Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq from office.
