ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for Riyadh on the special invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to attend the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Bilal bin Saqib as part of a high-level delegation.
The FII conference, being held in Riyadh, will bring together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and experts from various sectors. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will represent Pakistan at the event and participate in discussions focused on sustainable development, economic inclusion, innovation, and shifts in global geopolitics.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will also meet with the Saudi leadership to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and manpower sectors. The meetings will also cover regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Shehbaz Sharif is also scheduled to meet with world leaders and heads of international organizations attending the conference to explore opportunities for enhanced investment and sustainable development partnerships in Pakistan.
