Rawalpindi: The closing ceremony of the Pakistan–Kazakhstan Joint Military Exercise Dostarym-V was held at the Special Operations School in Cherat, marking the completion of a two-week counter-terrorism training between the two countries’ special forces.
The exercise Dostarym-V, which began on 14 October, featured combat teams from the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) and the Kazakhstan Special Forces. The troops demonstrated high standards of professionalism and tactical skill during the drills.

The ceremony was attended by the Commandant of the Special Operations School as the chief guest, while the Ambassador and Defence Attaché of Kazakhstan were also present.
According to the military’s media wing, the joint exercise focused on refining operational drills, procedures, and counter-terrorism techniques through shared experience. It also aimed to further strengthen the historic military-to-military ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
