DHAKA: Pakistan has announced the establishment of the “Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor”, aimed at boosting educational and professional cooperation between the two countries.
Under the initiative Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor, 500 scholarships will be awarded to Bangladeshi students over the next five years, with a quarter of them reserved exclusively for the field of medicine.

The program will also provide training for 100 Bangladeshi civil servants within the same period.
Additionally, Pakistan has increased the number of scholarships for Bangladeshi students under its Technical Assistance Program from 5 to 25.
The announcement was made in Dhaka during the visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
