ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on Friday announced the results of the Central Superior Services (CSS) Competitive Examination 2025 written test, declaring only 2.77 per cent of candidates successful.
According to the commission, a total of 18,139 candidates applied for the exam, held from February 15 to 23 this year, of whom 12,792 actually appeared. Out of these, only 354 managed to qualify the written part.
The FPSC said that the results of rejected candidates will remain withheld under Rule 16(6) of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019. The complete list of qualified candidates has been uploaded on the commission’s website.

Successful candidates will now undergo the subsequent phases, including medical examination, psychological assessment, and viva voce. The FPSC has advised candidates to regularly check its website for schedules and further instructions.
The notification added that while due care had been taken to ensure accuracy, the commission reserved the right to rectify any error or omission at any stage.
The 2025 result continues the trend of low pass rates in the country’s most competitive examination. Last year, only 395 candidates out of 15,602 who appeared cleared the written part, recording a success rate of 2.53pc.
