ISLAMABAD: Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, will pay an official visit to Pakistan from Sept 8 to 9, 2025, in what officials described as a precursor to the Kazakh president’s visit later this year.
According to the Foreign Office, Murat Nurtleu will be accompanied by a 13-member high-level delegation, including Kazakhstan’s minister of transport. Joint Working Group meetings on agriculture and information technology will also take place on the sidelines of the visit.
During his stay, the Kazakh foreign minister will hold a tête-à-tête with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, followed by delegation-level talks. He is also expected to call on the president and prime minister.

The discussions are expected to review preparations for the upcoming state visit of Kazakhstan’s president in November and cover the full range of bilateral cooperation, with emphasis on trade and investment, agriculture, education, tourism, regional connectivity and logistics, as well as collaboration at multilateral fora.
Officials said the visit will help cement longstanding ties between the two countries and contribute to deepening engagements across diverse fields “for the benefit of the people of Pakistan and Kazakhstan.”
