KARACHI: A robbery suspect held by the Darakhshan Investigation Police died in custody on Thursday.
According to the investigation police, the suspect, who was suffering from a heart condition, had been remanded to police custody for one day earlier in the day by a court.

Police claimed the suspect’s condition deteriorated inside the lock-up, and he died while being shifted to a hospital.
Following the incident, a post-mortem examination of the suspect was conducted under the supervision of a magistrate.
