Gaza

GAZA: As the war in Gaza entered its 689th day, Israeli forces carried out fresh strikes on hospitals and aid distribution centres, killing at least 75 Palestinians and wounding 370 others in the past 24 hours, Arab media reported on Monday.

Two separate attacks on Al-Nasr Hospital claimed 21 lives, including six Palestinian journalists. The slain journalists were affiliated with international news agencies such as Reuters, Associated Press, Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya. Rescue workers who had rushed to the site were also targeted in the second strike.

International journalist bodies strongly condemned the attacks, while China, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Egypt and Iran also denounced the Israeli strikes on hospitals and media personnel.
