Foreign ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have expressed deep concern over Israeli statements about opening the Rafah Crossing in one direction to transfer residents of the Gaza Strip into Egypt.
The ministers strongly rejected any attempt to expel the Palestinian people from their land. They emphasized the importance of fully implementing the plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, which calls for keeping the Rafah Crossing open in both directions, ensuring freedom of movement for Gaza’s population, and refraining from forcing any resident to leave.
The officials underlined that the focus should be on creating conditions for Palestinians to remain in their homeland and actively participate in rebuilding their country. They also stressed that measures should aim at restoring stability and improving humanitarian conditions in Gaza within a comprehensive framework.
