Islamabad’s investigative agencies have completed the preliminary report on the recent suicide blast outside the district courts in Sector G-11, sources confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the initial findings, the suicide bomber was a resident of Bajaur and had arrived in Islamabad on Friday. The report reveals that the attacker traveled from Pirwadhai to the G-11 Kachehri on a motorcycle bearing registration number BCB-2564. It further states that the bomber was wearing a shawl to conceal the explosives.

The blast occurred outside the district courts in Islamabad’s G-11 sector on Tuesday, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 people and injuries to around 30 others.
Following the explosion, an emergency was declared at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), while law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched a full-scale investigation.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied by IG Islamabad Police, visited the blast site and directed authorities to expedite the probe and ensure the best medical assistance for the injured.
