ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, participated in consultations hosted by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in New York today. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Jordan and UAE, along with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye.
The leaders exchanged views and coordinated positions for a unified approach on key issues under discussion at the ongoing UN General Assembly Session.

During the consultations, DPM/FM Dar highlighted the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and other Islamic countries. He noted that the people of Pakistan held deep affinity for their Muslim brethren in the Middle East and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for all constructive efforts aimed at promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.
