WEB DESK: Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has announced his second marriage to Nyla, two months after revealing his divorce from his first wife, Sannia.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Imad said the decision was taken “thoughtfully and with clear intention” to build a life rooted in peace, stability and mutual respect.

“With the grace of Allah and the guidance of my parents, I have now married Nyla,” he wrote, adding that she has brought “calm, dignity, and strength” into his life.

Reflecting on his previous marriage, Imad described it as one of the hardest chapters of his life but said it also gave him his greatest blessing — his children.

“I love them beyond words, and that love will never change,” he said.

Imad acknowledged regrets over how matters unfolded, accepting responsibility for delays and silence that he said led to unfair criticism of an innocent person.

He stressed that his children remain his foremost priority, saying fatherhood is defined not only by provision but also by presence, love and guidance. He added that despite his efforts, he is currently unable to see them and wishes to remain actively involved in their lives.

Concluding his message, Imad urged the public to respect his privacy and treat his personal life with dignity.

The announcement comes after Imad confirmed in December 2025 that he had filed for divorce following years of unresolved conflicts, requesting fans and media not to share old pictures of the former couple.
