Doha: Pakistan’s First Lady, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, met with Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser at the Qatar Foundation in Doha, where the two leaders discussed collaboration in the fields of education, health, innovation, and women’s empowerment.
During the meeting, the First Lady lauded Sheikha Moza’s visionary leadership in promoting education and human development. She also commended the Education Above All (EAA) initiative for providing education to more than 1.3 million children in Pakistan.
The First Lady proposed enhanced collaboration between Pakistani universities and the Qatar Foundation to promote academic exchange, research, and innovation.
Sheikha Moza praised the performance and creativity of Pakistani students and reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening educational ties between the two countries.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also appreciated Sheikha Moza’s principled stance on Palestine and her strong condemnation of Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
Both leaders reiterated their shared commitment to advancing education, empowering women, and fostering social inclusion for sustainable development.
