Field Marshal meets UAE national security adviser Sheikh Tahnoon

ABU DHABI: Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met Abu Dhabi’s Deputy Ruler and UAE National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where he expressed gratitude for the UAE’s continued investments and decades-long support for Pakistan’s economy and security.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting was held in Abu Dhabi and focused on further strengthening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, particularly economic collaboration, investment and security.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional developments and underlined the importance of continued coordination to promote peace and stability in the region.

During the interaction, Field Marshal Munir noted that the UAE’s support reflects the deep-rooted historical ties between the two brotherly nations. He also commended the constructive role of the UAE leadership in contributing to Pakistan’s economic and social development.

The CDF affirmed that the security and stability of the UAE remain closely linked with Pakistan’s own security, citing the enduring strategic partnership between the two countries.

Field Marshal Munir reiterated Islamabad’s firm commitment to continuing joint efforts to further strengthen cooperation in all fields, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations and contributes to lasting peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
