Multan: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday arrested two suspects in separate cases of human trafficking and corruption.
According to an FIA spokesperson, a human trafficker identified as Umar Jibran was arrested from Gujrat. The suspect allegedly collected Rs85 million from citizens by promising to send them to New Zealand for employment.

In a separate action, the FIA arrested Muhammad Rizwan from Bahawalpur on charges of corruption. The spokesperson said the suspect, a former utility store in-charge, embezzled stock of the Utility Stores Corporation during his posting in Khairpur Tamewali, Bahawalpur.
Both suspects are being investigated further, the spokesperson added.
