Father allegedly kills three children in Abbottabad over financial losses

ABBOTTABAD: A tragic incident in Kaghan Colony, Abbottabad, left three children dead and their mother critically injured after their father, identified as Kashif, allegedly poisoned the children and stabbed his wife following financial losses in online trading.

The police have registered a case against Kashif under multiple sections, including murder. The three minor children died at the scene, while the mother was shifted to Ayub Medical Complex for treatment. Both Kashif and his wife remain under medical care.

Authorities launched an immediate investigation, examining the circumstances and motives behind the tragedy. Social media footage reportedly shows Kashif discussing his financial losses and referencing a person named Qari, allegedly involved in a Rs 10 million transaction linked to the sale of his house. Police have formed a team to locate Qari as part of the ongoing probe.

Local residents expressed deep shock and grief, highlighting concerns over the impact of financial stress and mental health on domestic safety. Authorities have been urged to conduct a transparent investigation and ensure strict legal action to prevent similar incidents in the future.
