Beijing: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in Beijing, where he will co-chair the Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue with his Chinese counterpart, the Foreign Office said.
During the visit, the deputy prime minister will also participate in events commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, underscoring the long-standing strategic partnership between the two countries.

Earlier, Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations with senior leaders from the United Arab Emirates and Türkiye to discuss the evolving regional situation.
In a phone call with the deputy prime minister of the UAE, both leaders reviewed regional developments and expressed satisfaction over the improving situation. Ishaq Dar appreciated the positive outcomes achieved through dialogue and diplomacy, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson.
The foreign minister also spoke with his Turkish counterpart, during which both leaders exchanged views on regional challenges and praised the serious efforts being made by all sides to resolve issues through diplomatic engagement.

During the conversation, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Türkiye in areas of mutual interest, including trade, technology, tourism and information technology.
