PESHAWAR: Following recent floods, dengue cases are rapidly increasing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the provincial health department, 82 new cases of the virus were reported in the last 24 hours.
The total number of reported dengue cases in the province has now reached 398. Of these, 90 patients are currently under treatment in various hospitals, while 308 have fully recovered.

Health officials said Charsadda has been the most affected district, with 220 cases reported so far. Haripur has recorded 32 cases and Mansehra 30.
The health department added that anti-dengue campaigns have been launched in affected areas, urging residents to ensure that stagnant water does not accumulate in homes or streets.
