COMSATS university enters top-100 in THE ranking 2026

ISLAMABAD: COMSATS University has set a new record by being the only Pakistani university to break into the Top 100 in the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Ranking 2026.

According to the latest ranking, no other Pakistani university made it to the Top 100. For comparison, the University of Lahore ranked 114th, while NUST came in at 130th.

The Times Higher Education ranking recognizes institutions for scientific work that addresses global challenges such as climate change, health, and other societal issues.

Expressing pride in the achievement, COMSATS University Rector Dr. Raheel Qamar said, “This moment is a source of pride for all of us. Our faculty, staff, and students are truly deserving of congratulations.”

He added, “God willing, we will maintain this momentum and aim for even more prominent standing in the future.”
