Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met British High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Islamabad on Thursday, where both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, global developments and ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto highlighted the importance of deepening political, economic and people-to-people ties between the two countries. He shared his views on expanding Pakistan-UK cooperation across various sectors and underscored the need for sustained dialogue to address regional and international challenges.

The two sides also exchanged views on global affairs and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular engagement to promote mutual understanding and cooperation.

Senator Sherry Rehman was also present during the meeting and joined the discussions with the British high commissioner.
