RAWALPINDI: Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman, Quartermaster General of the Bangladesh Army, called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at the Joint Staff Headquarters on Friday.
According to an ISPR statement, the two sides discussed the prevailing regional security environment and expressed their resolve to enhance cooperation in the fields of defence and security.

Gen Mirza highlighted the upward trajectory of bilateral ties and pointed to emerging avenues for collaboration in the defence sector.
The visiting dignitary, meanwhile, praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
