ATC extends interim bail in case linked to alleged clash with high court bar president

ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court heard a case related to an alleged altercation and violence involving Islamabad High Court Bar Association President Wajid Gillani.

The case was taken up by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain.

During the hearing, the court extended the interim bail of Imaan Mazari, Hadi Ali Chattha, and other accused. Arguments on the pre-arrest bail applications could not be presented.

The court directed the investigating officer to complete supplementary investigation and instructed lawyers of both sides to present arguments at the next hearing.

Further hearing of the case was adjourned until January 5.

A case against Imaan Mazari, Hadi Ali Chattha, and others has been registered at the Secretariat Police Station.
