ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council on Tuesday announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be held nationwide on August 16.
Pakistan’s medical regulatory authority said the entrance test for 2026 admissions will be conducted across the country on the same date.

In its notification, PMDC said the syllabus for MDCAT 2026 will be based on the 2025 curriculum.
The announcement comes as thousands of students across Pakistan prepare for admission into medical and dental colleges, where MDCAT remains a mandatory requirement.
The council issued a public notice confirming both the schedule and the syllabus framework for the upcoming examination cycle.
