TEHRAN: Chief of Army staff & Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Tehran as part of Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to mediate between the United States and Iran.

The visit comes at a critical time as Islamabad continues to play a central role in facilitating dialogue between Washington and Tehran following recent high-level talks.

Pakistan has emerged as a key mediator in the conflict, hosting initial negotiations in Islamabad and maintaining communication channels between both sides to sustain the diplomatic process.

The arrival of the Pakistani delegation in Tehran signals continued engagement with regional stakeholders as efforts intensify to revive talks and maintain a fragile ceasefire.
