KARACHI: The Pakistan Super League on Wednesday unveiled the new “Infinity” trophy for its 11th edition at National Bank Stadium, presenting fans with a striking design featuring golden elements, sparkling crystals and a crescent-star crown.
The league revealed the trophy through a 47-second video posted on its social media platforms, highlighting the intricate crafting process behind the silverware.
The Infinity trophy features a tall and sleek golden structure rising from a circular base, giving it a modern and elegant appearance. Its central body is decorated with glittering crystals arranged in vertical patterns, creating a shimmering effect when illuminated.
Two curved golden arms extend upward from the sides of the structure and meet near the top, forming a symbolic frame for the crown.
At the summit of the trophy sits a crescent and star — inspired by the national emblem of Pakistan — with the crescent studded with small crystals and a polished metallic star positioned slightly above it.
The base of the trophy is gold-plated and mounted on a black cylindrical pedestal featuring official PSL branding.
According to the league, a total of 18 artisans worked on the trophy and spent around 2,600 hours completing the design.
The historic 11th edition of the PSL will feature eight teams, including new entrants Pindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen, competing in 44 matches from March 26 to May 3.
The tournament will begin with defending champions Lahore Qalandars facing Hyderabad Kingsmen on March 26.
Each team will play 10 matches in the league stage, with the top four progressing to the playoffs, which will include Qualifier 1, Eliminator and Qualifier 2 before the final.
The final of PSL 11 is scheduled to take place at Gaddafi Stadium on May 3, with a reserve day set for May 4.
Matches will be played across six venues in the country, including Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Peshawar, with Faisalabad and Peshawar hosting PSL matches for the first time.
