ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the recent mosque bomb blast in Islamabad and broader bilateral and regional matters.
During the call, Fidan conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, himself, and the people of Türkiye over the tragic loss of precious lives in the attack.
Dar thanked the Turkish leadership for their solidarity and support, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unshaken resolve to combat terrorism and ensure the protection of civilians.
Both leaders also exchanged views on Pakistan-Türkiye bilateral relations, issues of mutual interest, and key regional and international developments.
