President Zardari addresses National Security Workshop at NDU

RAWALPINDI: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday visited the National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad, where he addressed participants of the 27th National Security Workshop (NSW-27), the military’s media wing said.

The workshop brought together parliamentarians, senior civil and military officials, academics and civil society representatives, focusing on strengthening understanding of the various components of national power within the framework of Comprehensive National Security.

Congratulating the participants on the successful completion of the workshop, the president praised their commitment to enhancing national security awareness. He highlighted the need for informed leadership, national cohesion and integrated policymaking to meet Pakistan’s evolving security challenges.

The National Security Workshop is regarded as one of the country’s key platforms for national-level dialogue, institutional strengthening and fostering a whole-of-nation approach to security.

The president also distributed certificates among the graduating participants.
