ISLAMABAD: A new era of digital transformation has begun for Pakistan’s engineering community as the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) signed an agreement to enhance online services and promote modern technology integration.

Under the agreement, NADRA will provide PEC with secure data hosting, digital systems, and technical support in developing new software and applications. The partnership will also strengthen PEC’s election system through advanced and secure digital facilities.

Both organizations will launch joint projects for the exchange of technical expertise and the application of cutting-edge technologies in administrative and service processes.

Speaking on the occasion, PEC Chairman Engineer Waseem Nazir described the agreement as “a major step toward transforming PEC into a modern, transparent, and technology-driven institution.” He added that collaboration with NADRA will enable PEC to move toward a paperless environment and enhance efficiency in its operations.

Engineer Waseem Nazir noted that the integration of NADRA’s national ICT infrastructure will further strengthen PEC’s systems and bring convenience to registered engineers. “With this partnership, engineers across Pakistan will have access to modern online facilities anytime, anywhere,” he said.

NADRA officials emphasized that the agreement will play a key role in promoting e-governance and expanding digital public services across Pakistan.
