ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Yasir Khokhar clinched the title of the 18th Chief of the Naval Staff Amateur Golf Cup 2025, held at the Margalla Greens Golf Club (MGGC). Lt Col (R) M. Ayub Khan, Jassia Tasawar, and Master Musab Asif won in the Senior, Ladies, and Junior categories, respectively.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest and congratulated the winners for their exceptional performance. He commended all participants for demonstrating outstanding skill, precision, and sportsmanship, describing the event as a showcase of Pakistan’s growing golfing talent.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf also lauded the sponsors, media representatives, and the MGGC management for their dedicated efforts in ensuring the event’s success.
The five-day tournament, held from 22 to 26 October 2025, drew around 300 golfers from across the country who competed in multiple categories — Amateurs, Seniors, Ladies, and Juniors.

Since its inception in 2007, the Chief of the Naval Staff Amateur Golf Cup has become one of the most prestigious events on Pakistan’s national golf calendar. The tournament reflects the Pakistan Navy’s continued commitment to promoting sportsmanship, physical fitness, and a vibrant national sports culture.
The closing ceremony was attended by senior naval officers, dignitaries, participants, organizers, and members of the media.
