ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced record recoveries amounting to Rs1.10 trillion during the third quarter of 2025, marking a 242% increase compared to the previous quarter.
According to NAB’s quarterly report, the bureau has recovered a total of Rs1.65 trillion during the first three quarters of 2025, significantly boosting national revenue.
The report stated that 17,194 victims of public fraud cases benefited from the recoveries made during this quarter.

NAB Karachi successfully recovered and handed over two valuable plots worth Rs2.8 billion to the Karachi Port Trust (KPT), while NAB Sukkur recovered 361 acres of National Highway Authority land valued at Rs2.5 billion.
The bureau also reported major progress in reclaiming mangrove forest land. During this quarter alone, NAB recovered 1.39 million acres of mangrove forest land worth Rs1,104.97 billion, bringing the total value of reclaimed forest land to Rs2.59 trillion.
In Balochistan, NAB recovered 414,036 acres of forest land valued at Rs44.8 billion, while NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reclaimed Rs3.2 billion worth of illegally allotted state land, which was later handed over to the Ministry of Industries and Production.
Additionally, NAB facilitated online payments to 5,008 victims of the B4U fraud case, marking the first time compensation was disbursed digitally.
NAB termed these recoveries a major success in the fight against corruption and a significant contribution to strengthening Pakistan’s financial stability.
