Islamabad: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced a major decision to abolish the old curriculum and enforce the new Comprehensive Curriculum 2024 with immediate effect for matriculation and intermediate students across the country.
According to the official notification, all educational institutions affiliated with the Federal Board are directed to implement the new curriculum without delay. The updated curriculum is available for download on the official FBISE website.

The Board stated that the new syllabus has been designed in line with modern educational requirements and aims to enhance students’ academic knowledge, critical thinking, and intellectual abilities.
The new curriculum will be uniformly applied to all schools and colleges affiliated with FBISE nationwide, ensuring consistency in learning standards. Institutions have been instructed to ensure immediate compliance.
