ISLAMABAD: On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) dispatched another consignment of humanitarian aid to Palestine on Friday.
The latest consignment, the 24th in total, consists of 100 tons of relief goods and has been sent in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation. The aid was airlifted via a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
The consignment includes ration bags containing essential food items such as flour, rice, cooking oil, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, and canned fruits.

With this dispatch, Pakistan has so far sent a total of 2,327 tons of aid through 24 consignments to support Palestinians affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Officials from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from Alkhidmat Foundation and other government bodies were present at the send-off ceremony.
