CTO Islamabad reviews services at Traffic HQ

ISLAMABAD: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad, Capt. (retd.) Hamzah Humayun, visited the Traffic Headquarters in Faizabad to inspect service delivery and ensure better facilitation for the public.

During the visit, he conducted a detailed review of operations at the licensing branch and interacted directly with citizens to hear their concerns and suggestions.

Senior officers of the Islamabad Traffic Police briefed him on service procedures, processing mechanisms and other operational matters.

CTO Humayun instructed the staff to further simplify and expedite the driving licence issuance process, stressing the need for greater transparency to prevent inconvenience to applicants.

He appreciated the performance of officers and personnel on duty, saying ITP staff were diligently fulfilling their responsibilities round the clock.

He also directed officials to treat citizens with respect and courtesy at all times, reminding them that resolving public grievances was their foremost duty.

The visit aimed to assess the facilities being provided to the public and boost the morale of ITP officers.

Hamzah Humayun said the Islamabad Police were not only focused on law enforcement but also on prioritising citizen facilitation.
