ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Tuesday announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products, effective from October 1 to October 15.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs4.07 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs268.68 per litre.

Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs4.04 per litre, with the new price set at Rs276.81 per litre.

The revised prices will remain in effect for the first fortnight of October, as stated in the official notification.
