LAHORE: Renowned singer and Pride of Performance recipient Ali Zafar has announced a special fundraising concert in support of flood victims across Pakistan.
The concert will be held on September 27 at the Alhamra Cultural Complex, Lahore, beginning at 7pm.
According to organisers, the evening will feature a full performance by Ali Zafar along with surprise guest appearances by leading artists, whose names will be revealed closer to the event. All proceeds will go to the Ali Zafar Foundation, which is actively working for the rehabilitation of families affected by the recent floods. Tickets are available exclusively through TicketWala.
Speaking about the initiative, Ali Zafar said, “This concert is more than music, it’s a call to action. Together, we can bring hope to those who are still waiting for relief. Let’s come together and stand by our people in their time of need.”

The initiative follows a charity cricket match held last month at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar under the slogan “Khel Se Khidmat.” Cricket legends including Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, Babar Azam, and Kamran Akmal took part. The VVIP enclosure, priced at Rs50,000 per seat, was purchased by KP’s chief minister and cabinet members, with proceeds directed towards flood relief.

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), at least 101 people have died in Punjab province alone. The disaster, described as the largest in Punjab’s history, has submerged more than 4,700 villages and affected 4.57 million people.
Since June 26, heavy monsoon rains and flash floods have claimed 932 lives, left 1,060 injured, and destroyed or damaged more than 8,238 homes across the country, according to UN data.
