Islamabad Police Bans Uniformed Content on Social Media

Islamabad: The Islamabad Capital Police has imposed a strict ban on posting photos and videos in uniform on social media platforms, warning personnel of departmental action in case of non-compliance.

According to a directive issued by the department, all officers and personnel have been instructed to immediately remove any existing uniformed content from their social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad Police stated that strict disciplinary measures will be taken against anyone found violating the order.

“Sharing uniformed photos or videos on social media is now completely prohibited,” the statement said.

“Any violation of the social media code of conduct will not be tolerated,” the department warned, urging all officers to adhere strictly to the new guidelines.
