ISLAMABAD: The first batch of 37 students from the Applied Technologies Institute of NLC (ATIN), Mandra, departed for China to complete the third year of the Dual Diploma Split Education Programme at top Chinese universities.
After completing two years of study at ATIN Mandra, the students will pursue their final year in disciplines of Internet of Things Application Technology (IoTAT) and Mechanical Manufacturing & Automation Technology at renowned universities in China.
The initiative marks a significant step in expanding Sino-Pak cooperation in technical and vocational education.
A ceremony to see off the students was held at ATIN Mandra, attended by Director ATINs, Chairperson NAVTTC Gulmina Bilal, and Song Jianying, CEO of Tang Chinese Education & Technology.
The programme reflects NLC’s commitment to skill development, as its technical and vocational institutes have trained over 80,000 students across various trades, enabling them to secure respectable livelihoods both in Pakistan and abroad.
